"Lets work together to address unhelpful patterns so you can experience more peace and take steps to live the life you want to live."
Hi!
Living with anxiety or trauma can feel overwhelming, especially when it seems like you're stuck in the same patterns or outcomes. Let’s work together to uncover the root of your challenges and help you build the life you want.
I believe you are the expert of your own life, and I love helping clients trust their inner wisdom. Every treatment plan is personalized to fit your unique needs and strengths, using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and somatic exercises. My goal is to make you feel truly seen and heard.
I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, body image issues, and imposter syndrome. I also help clients navigate relationships, set boundaries, and build self-esteem. If you’d like to see if we’re a good fit, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to answer any questions you have about starting therapy. Looking forward to connecting with you.
Q&A
What was your path to becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor?
I have intuitively known I wanted to be a therapist from a very young age. Fast forward, I completed undergrad and went on to graduate school. I started my career in an outpatient day program, working with individuals with serious and persistent mental health conditions. I later transitioned to working in the private practice setting, specializing in trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem concerns. I also enjoy helping people heal their body image, work through depression, and improve their relationships. I’m currently licensed in both New York and Connecticut.
What should someone know about working with you?
It is super important to me that my clients feel seen and heard in a warm environment. I structure sessions according to my client’s needs and will hold space for you. I like to incorporate humor in the right situation as I find this to be healing to the heart and it helps my clients experience who I am as a person. The therapist/client connection is very important and I aim to truly understand you.
How do your own core values shape your approach to care?
I believe we all deserve to be treated with patience and compassion, both in session and outside of session. I value empowerment and love helping clients tap into their strengths. One of the most important jobs of a therapist is to instill hope.
What are you most excited about within the evolving mental health landscape?
I am so thrilled by how conversations surrounding mental health have become so prevalent and normalized. I think the conversations we all have about our mental health can help us feel more validated and less alone. It also increases a sense of community and helps us be proactive in our own wellness. Taking care of our mental health is crucial for our well-being. The safer we feel discussing mental health the better.
